Совершенно неожиданно выложили совместный альбом Blu и Exile, записанный в 2009 году. Напомню, что их "Below The Heavens" был признан одним из лучших дисков 2007 года, да и этот релиз - очень интересный.

"Время тигра" мешает не только слушать другой русский рэп, но и внимательно читать почту. Пропустил, например, радостную новость: Duck Down выложили альбом новозеландца David Dallas (мы о нем неоднократно писали, см. ниже) для бесплатного скачивания.

David Dallas is an exciting new talent from Auckland, New Zealand. Earlier this year the rapper packed his bags & traveled over 8,800 miles to live in Harlem, New York. David Dallas, through Dawn Raid Ent. & Dirty Mgmt, inked a partnership with Duck Down Music to distribute & market his music globally.
In his first 4 months since living in the States, David Dallas has secured MTV video rotation for his song "Big Time;" synched music licenses with ESPN, The Weinstein Company & HBO; conducted an interview with Nightline about his journey to the USA; performed for HOT 97 Who's Next Series; & was chosen by DrJays to be part of their Summer Sensations fashion campaign.
Success is nothing new for David Dallas. In 2009 his Something Awesome album reached #1 on New Zealand's iTunes Rap Charts. In 2010, David Dallas received the New Zealand Music Award for Best Rap Artist.
Today, he's releasing his new album The Rose Tint.

Долгожданный (лично мной - больше, чем "Detox") третий альбом Pharoahe "Simon Says" Monch "W.A.R." (We Are Renegades) должен выйти уже 22 марта. Затаив дыхание, ждем. А это, как я понимаю, intro с альбома.

araabMUZIK - это своего рода Travis Barker по игре на MPC, по-моему. Наглядный тому пример - уничтожение битмейкера со смешным ником 8th Wundah в живом баттле.

Ему бы с Exile, допустим, сразиться, вот это было бы интересно.

31 августа в планах Exile значится выпуск альбома ремиксов "AM/FM", который будет представлять собой интерпретацию инструментальника "Radio" при участии Evidence, Alchemist, Blu, Fashawn, Shafiq Husayn, Samiyam, Free the Robots, DJ Day, Clutchy Hopkins, Krondon, Muhsinah, Aloe Blacc, Grouch и Eligh. По той простой причине, что материала для данного релиза накопилось у Exile в избытке, часть решено было выпустить отдельно в виде бесплатного интернет-альбома "Radio Bonus", куда вошли как ремиксы от различных продюсеров (и исполнителей в том числе), так и не вошедшие в альбом "Radio" биты Exile.

Ни в коем случае не пропустите.  Rhettmatic (см. Beat Junkies, The Visionaries) собрал под одной вывеской треки, которые он спродюсировал для разных артистов. Сейчас же он, к слову, работает над альбомом проекта Crown Royale (Buff1 и Rhettmatic). Впрочем, вот "пресс-релиз" микстейпа:

Alot of people know me for being a Battle DJ/Turntablist, as a member of the Beat Junkies, or as a member and the Dj/Producer of the Visionaries……what alot of people don’t know me for as a Producer…period, and that I have been doing production for quite sometime.  I actually want to showcase some material (some Old, some Album & B-Side cuts, some Exclusives) that people might be surprised that I actually produced some songs that was outside of my usual circle; You might be plesantly surprised to see whom I have worked with….Plus I included some material off the upcoming Crown Royale album with Buff1 & myself.

Одна из заглавных сегодняшних новостей на HipHopDX звучит не иначе, как "First-ever Moscow Date On Blu, Exile & Fashawn's European Agenda Tour":

The Moscow show is scheduled for Feb. 19, the first in that city for the California artists. Cypress Hill's B-Real performed there last year with his Audio Hustlaz team member, Philly's own Young De. The concert brought out thousands of fans.

“It's the first time for any of the three [Blu, Exile or Fashawn] in Mother Russia,” said Jonathan Kim, who represents Blu and Exile through his Synergy Works LLC publicity and management firm.
